Bob joins Suzi Perry for BBC’s “Celebrity Antiques Road Trip”

Broadcasting legend Bob Harris and queen of motor sports Suzi Perry burn rubber across south east England in a racy 1974 Ford Escort RS 2000.

Broadcasting legend Bob Harris and queen of motor sports Suzi Perry burn rubber across south east England in a racy 1974 Ford Escort RS 2000. But can they flip antiques for profit?

Steering them in the right direction are doyens Margie Cooper and Raj Bisram, both veteran road trippers and rivals to the core.

What starts out as a hunt for music and travel collectibles changes tack very early on. Bob falls for a pair of romantic champagne flutes in a love heart stand, while Suzy steps back in time when she discovers a Japanese glass fishing float. Along the way, they learn to raise their profile through the art of silhouette portraiture, with some amazing results.

But at the auction, there can be only one winner. Will Bob reach the number one spot, or will Suzy be racing for the stars?
