Bob Harris & Danny Baker make triumphant tour debut at The Lowry Theatre
The twice covid-postponed “Backstage Pass” tour finally sprung into life last night, 18 months after its original start date, in front of an enthusiastic and appreciative audience at The Lowry Theatre in Salford.
Bob & Danny’s fans were treated to stories from over 50 years (a combined total of 95 years behind the radio mic!) of Pop & Rock by these two revered statesmen of music journalism & broadcasting, including tales of Springsteen, Beach Boys and Lennon (and more).
“Finally Danny and I begin our tour together… almost eighteen months after we were originally due to start. We’ve had time to marinate even more great stories of our lives in music, broadcasting and beyond!”
“The lads” were especially pleased to be joined backstage by Peter Kay in a rare and very welcome public outing.
