“Whispering Bob Harris, Poptastic Oldie of the Year”
Bob was honoured to be awarded The Oldie magazine’s “Poptastic Oldie of the Year” by Camilla Duchess of Cornwall at The Savoy in London.
“I sat next to the wonderful Roger McGough and got the opportunity to meet two of my great heroes Geoff Hurst and Sheila Hancock. Gyles Brandreth told me that I’m on the young side to receive the award but considering the health issues I’ve experienced over the past couple of years they thought they better get it in quick!”
