Bob was one of a number of celebrities who took part in 5K for AD, a charity walk in aid of the Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust at Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium.

Under the stars, the echoes of laughter mixed with stories of survival reminded us of life's precious rhythm and the pure joy of being part of it.

On 16th November 2022 Bob joined his BBC radio 2 colleagues in support of the extraordinary efforts made by afternoon DJ Scott Mills to raise funds foe “Children in Need”.
